Don't Give Up Yet. Keep Moving Forward!

When things are about to turn around for you, or when you are about to achieve something great, there is a process you have to go through. And that process doesn't have to be pleasant. Most times it isn't.

There are times when you've got to go through one heart ache just to get your heart desires. I see heart aches, disappointments, tribulations as stepping stones to the top of mountain or to your destiny. You know, my strong believe when I am faced with obstacles in any aspect of my life is always that something great is about to happen. Because when you are climbing a mountain, the most challenging part is when you're about to get to the top. Your thighs, ankles, start hurting. You may think its a sign to stop going, to stop moving, to stop any action but it isn't.

Its a sign that you are about to get to your destination. Its a sign that its time to prove how much you want to get there. Its not a test of physical strength, but a test of your WILL.

If you are WILLING and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land. (Isaiah 1:19)
The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all. (Ecc. 9:11)
Now is your time! Now is your chance!

How willing are you? Do you find yourself giving up when faced with the storm? Does dark times halt your pursuit for greatness?

They don't have to because stars shine at night. And there is always light at the end of the tunnel. You just have to decide to get to the end and you will find light.

Light doesn't shine brightest in light, it shines brightest in darkness. It doesn't mean you should always expect darkness, but that when you come across it in any aspect of your life, you shouldn't be cast down.

Rejoice!

You are about to break forth. As a child of the Most High God, you shouldn't be perplexed by what you see, for the things which you see are temporal (2 Cor. 4:18). They are stepping stones to the other side of greatness.

Imagine if Jesus had complained, grumbled and rejected crucifixion, we all won't be enjoying the fullness of grace we all have today. But He knew that crucifixion was just a process, a stepping stone, a means to the great things that were about to happen to the human race. So instead of cursing and threatening them at the cross, He instead asked His Father (God) to forgive them for they know not what they do. And after He had gone through the process successfully, His name was glorified above every other name, that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow.

But then, there are places or situations you find yourself and you've got to act. Not act with your senses but an act of faith. Faith in God's word concerning you is more powerful than anything you could ever imagine.

You amplify the power in God's word when you speak as He has commanded, or do as He has instructed. Yes He said it, but it isn't enough, you've got to do something about it.

Take action on God's word. That's faith.

When Pharaoh decided to chase after the Israelite after letting them go, the children of Israel saw them coming and began murmuring. But Moses who trusted and had faith in His God said to the people,

Fear not, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord: for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall see them again no more for ever. The Lord shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace. (Exodus 14:13-14)
And I am telling you right now in the name of Jesus, FEAR NOT! THE LORD WILL FIGHT FOR YOU! They that be for you are greater than they that be against you.

Now the Israelite were faced with the red sea and right behind them were Pharaoh's men coming. And God told Moses to tell the people to GO FORWARD.

But is God not seeing the red sea, does He want to drown them?

Of course not, He saw the red sea, the same way He sees what you are battling with, what you are faced with and still asked you to trust and put your faith on Him. Going back would mean you don't trust Him enough to get you to your destination.

He asked Moses, why are you crying to me? He then instructed him:

...lift up your rod and stretch out your hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on DRY GROUND through THE MIDST OF THE SEA.

Moses obeyed and divided the red sea with his rod by stretching his hand over it as commanded by God.

Things are happening everywhere, there is economic recession and things are expensive than they use to. There are strange deaths and famine across the nations of the earth. But do not be shaken, for there is a way out.

Though we don't have the rod of Moses, we have Christ Jesus. And we can stretch our words of faith out over the sea of finance, career, academics, relationships and divide them. The whole earth might be going through hard times, but not we, for we will go through the midst of them all. We are walking on dry ground; not affected by the hardships around us.

Say this,

I am walking on dry ground; and I am not affected by the hardships around me. I refuse to be manipulated by the circumstances of life for I've been made victorious by the blood of the lamb. All around me, I see greatness. Even in the midst of the storm, great testimonies will abound in my life. I'm on my way to greatness.

We just need to believe that there is a God who cares for us and no matter what comes our way, He is able to bring us out, dry and through it all.

Go forward today, and walk through the midst of it all, on dry ground.

God bless you.
