So Much For Love

When I think about how this world loves, it makes me wonder how God loves us too.

The degree of love we pour towards our parents, brothers and sisters and friends can never be measured to how much God loves us. You know, when we love, we feel we can do anything for that person. Most of us that have been in love or are currently in love will understand what I’m saying. You feel you have all. That feeling that without him or her, you can’t live.

No one hates being loved. Virtually everyone will give anything to have someone love them so much. And some of us that have lost a loved one(s) will give anything to have that person back. Even if it takes us to lose that wonderful job to just speak to that person for 5 seconds.

So much for LOVE.

When you are in love, nothing matters anymore. You only see just one person. You find your activities circling round that person or group of people. We become eager to get a text, a call, a mail or even a gift from that person.  Reading of 500 words of love letter won’t be a problem at all.

Suddenly, we find we are happier than we ever had been; always eager to leave the office on time to see “Our love”. :)

Oh! HOW GOD SO LOVES US SO MUCH THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON!

How much love can you have for someone that you would sacrifice your ONLY son? How much love can you have for a thief, murderer, rapist, etc to sacrifice your ONLY son?

The price that was paid on the cross can never be repaid. God used LOVE to rescue us from death. He made that known to us in Matthew 3:17,
“…This is my beloved Son, with whom I’m well pleased.”

Jesus was His BELOVED, yet He gave Him up for our sakes. Do you think it was easy for Him? You think because He’s a God and that makes Him unemotional. It wasn’t an easy task for Him.

Can you send your daughter or son to die for those criminals who are in prison? No.

GOD’S LOVE CAN’T BE MEASURED.

“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39.

That’s just how much HE loves YOU. Nothing that we do can stop Him from loving us. Whatever thing you’ve done in the past, can’t and won’t stop HIM from LOVING you. But are you ready to be loved?

He paid the greatest price and got you as His prize. He paid so dearly for you and isn't ready to let you go easily.

Oh! If only we can LOVE HIM AS MUCH AS HE LOVES US.

How many of us will be eager to leave the office on time just to have a sweet and quiet time with HIM? How many of us would make HIM our everything? How many of us will wake every morning eager to read His love letters written by Him in the bible?

IS YOUR WORLD REVOLVING AROUND HIM?

For He is your TRUE LOVE!
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant  or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;  it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.”
1 Cor. 13: 4-8a

You might question your partner's love along the way; His/her attitude might arouse such a question. Probably, because he has suddenly become rude.
But our God’s love is never rude neither does it irritate. His love is pure and holy. His love never ends. He’s ever faithful. And He believes in us, in you, in your ability. He patiently waits for you to surrender all and gain all.
He is my LOVE. He is my EVERYTHING. And with HIM, I have ALL.
