Stop Crying! You Have Overcome

What do Christians want or need that has not been given to them? It amazes me when we all act like "the world", oblivious of what we have but yet we all claim to have God's Will - the bible.

If a man leaves his will containing all his wealth for his family  and his family doesn't know anything about it and even the lawyer doesn't say anything. The family will definitely be living their life as though they are poor.

But in the real sense, they are, without the knowledge of the will. Until they know about it and act towards receiving what is rightfully theirs, they will die of poverty. 

The bible says my people perish because of lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). The Word of God is God's Will for us, for our daily living. Just that you know, you can't make it in this world without His word. Never! You need it even more than your food, your job and all.

If it comes first in your life, then you have all you need in life. Yes, I said it. Because in it lies your job, your food, children, family and all. Until you understand this, you can't move forward. Open up God's will for you and see what your Father has given you.

I am going to share with you something now. Some of you might have come across it but haven't gotten Rhema - God's word for the now - from it.

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

 1John 4:4

You have overcome them - the world. Why? Because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. Simple!

He is saying that if you only know who you have in you, you will know that you are a winner already. Nothing in this world is too big for you to conquer. The greater One lives in you. Nothing the world throws at you should bring you down, you have the one who created the world in you. You should walk around with the mindset that you carry God in you. He abodes in you. 

And if the greater one lives in you, what does that make you? It makes you a super man. It means you are also greater than whatever it is you are facing. Until you realise this, the devil will continue knocking your head. You need to act like a champion that you are.

You've got to stand up against that obstacle and say to it, "Listen to me, I overcame you since I accepted Christ into my life, and the one who is greater lives in me. You are too small to pull me down. I take charge of this situation. And I command it to go well In Jesus name."

When you get to work and your boss tries to spoil your day, go into your office and talk to that situation. Lets stop giving the devil attention. Thats what he seeks. Once he gets it, he will start playing your mind. You have got to make him know that he doesn't matter at all in any way. Cos you are greater than him. He knows that but most of us don't know it. We still cry over things we need to stand against. He puts your child in the hospital and all you are doing is crying. That is not the attitude of one who is great.

Lay your hands on that kid and speak the word with boldness like the one who has the Almighty God living inside him, "You are healed in Jesus name". No matter what the doctor says,  that is the world's diagnosis. God's diagnosis for you is "I wish above all things that you be in good health and prosper". Halleluyah!

John16:33 says, "...In the world you will have tribulations. But take heart; I have overcome the world." That is such a glorious relieve. He has overcome the world. Troubles will surely come but with this truth, you will defeat it. Your God has overcome the world.

When you don't seem to know your rights, there is no way you won't be humiliated by the world's menace. But when you know, even as you now know, when trouble comes, take heart. 

He said in John 14:27, "...Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

You do not need to be afraid of failing because you aint a failure. You are a success. Fear, impossibility and all other negative words are not to be found in your dictionary or with you. 

Why? Because GREATER is He that is in YOU! GREATER!! GREATER!!! Your friends don't like you because you are a Christian? Don't worry, soon they will realize how your life is going from glory to glory and they will come to celebrate with you.

The Greater One is not a lair...He will always see you through all your tribulations. The storms of life are scared of Him. They can't behold His glory and splendour and thank God He lives in you. Showcase the glory and splendour that lies in you. 

Stop Crying, you have overcome.
